We've just come through difficult and trying times, but we are resilient individuals who can take that experience and move forward.

I want to take that direction, and with your help and approval, make this a Temple of caring and warmth for each other. As Jews, through the centuries, we've been presented with challenges and we've persevered. I know we're up to that challenge.

Thank you for believing in me, and I accept the opportunity to lead this congregation, which I've loved since I joined 14 years ago.
