Sisterhood Outreach

We are proud to extend our volunteerism and outreach.

Our annual Holocaust Remembrance Day is one of the largest events of its kind in our region.  In-person attendance has averaged 1200-1500 guests at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Lady Lake, Florida for the last five years. This year we will not be able to present in person. We decided to expand our outreach with on demand video presentation  at tscfl.org/holocaust  This multimedia project is in collaboration with Jeff Jagmin & Associates, LLC.

Starting on Wednesday, March 25, 2021 our Sisterhood members were pleased to provide  a  Passover video on DVD disks  to more than 15 independent, assisted, nursing and memory care residences.  This video can be viewed and the link shared at Passover Story 2021.

In December 2020, Sisterhood Outreach shared A Chanukah Celebration video program to these residences, and as well as a multimedia Sukkot presentation in the fall of 2020. Prior to the pandemic, Sisterhood members visited each facility to celebrate these holidays in person with residents. Sisterhood members hope to resume in-person programs next season.

Our temple is an active member of the interfaith community. Neighboring congregations of many faiths gather regularly for meaningful interfaith events. We are pleased to offer our location frequently to help facilitate interfaith services and events.

Temple Shalom is conveniently located in the heart of the Tri-County area. We are adjacent to The Villages community and accessible by golf cart.Come and celebrate Shabbat with us each week. Experience the warm embrace that makes Temple Shalom of Central Florida a spiritual home.
