New Beginnings......

 

Temple Shalom of Central Florida is a Reform Jewish Congregation located adjacent to The Villages® community.

​

    "As we are now approaching the High Holy Days for Temple Shalom, we are thankful for the growth of our congregation, and the many activities that have been afforded us, due to the arrival of our Rabbi Zev. He has brought us interesting and innovative programs.

​

     We've begun learning about Kabbalah. He is teaching Beginning Hebrew and a Refresher course. Educational programs coming up will focus on the High Holy Days and prepare us for this very special time of year. It's very meaningful for us to start a New Year and atone for our sins on Yom Kippur. We look back on the past year, and are grateful that we've reached the holidays so that we can celebrate it with family and friends. Rabbi Zev has been so creative with a special Purim schpiel and reading the Book of Ruth on Shavuot.

     We look forward to our Shabbat services which are beautiful. The Temple is alive with so many meaningful experiences, and a home for all to enhance their lives in many ways."
