Our President's Message

November 2015

Where does all the time go. It seems like only yesterday when I assumed the position of President, and here we are nearly two years later. As a result of having been granted the honor of the position, and the trust you have placed in myself and the other elected officers, I believe that Temple Shalom has benefitted.

At our Board seminar we learned important lessons about the need to have those currently serving being readied and prepared for future leadership. I am proud to say that our executive officers and trustees have more then adequatly started that journey.
Leadership should not overstay their welcome at the top and I have chosen to pass the baton to the next. I will be there as Past President giving guidance and assistance to our new President, and helping to continue the programs we started.

I have served Temple Shalom in many capacities in the past and hope to continue to guide and shape our policies long into the future. With your help, and Gods guidance I feel that we will continue to grow, and be a vital part of Jewish Life in the Tri-County area. I hope that our new members will feel a part of our family and become active with ideas and actions.

Temple Shalom has an exciting future that YOU the congregation , along with your officers can shape working together.

Thank you for the honor and privilege you have afforded me.
